470 Supporting Falkirk Race for Life 2017
The volunteer team with their medals and runner “470”
Each summer Falkirk hosts its very own Race for Life in the beautiful surroundings of Callendar Park. This year, 470 was very proud to be asked back to support the event which is only along the road from our Headquarters at Bellsmeadow.
Cadets and staff helped the other volunteers from Cancer Research to setup the race, supply refreshments and medals and perform a clean up after the event which aimed to raised £77,000 for Cancer Research
It was also a great opportunity for us to use the Squadron gazebo to raise our profile and distribute recruitment materials for the Air Cadets.
